Weekend Outline

Itinerary

Here's a rough timeline of the weekend. Everything is subject to change depending on emotions and energy levels. But, for everyone planning your drive, you can rely on the main cake celebration being on Saturday in the late afternoon/early evening.

There will be winners and losers. In honor of turning 30, we will be awarding the winner with a
$300 ROBLOX GIFT CARD!!! Please emotionally prepare accordingly.

Friday

4-6pm: Arrivals

We're planning on getting there around 5pm. If you'll get there earlier, I can send you the check-in details.

6-8pm: Dinner + mini cake celebration

Don't expect culinary excellence. Food will be scavenged from Costco for ~10 people.

8-10pm: Games

These will be a mini version of Saturday's games. Therefore, there'll be a mini version of the prize. A $100 ROBLOX GIFT CARD!!!

10-midnight: Wind down

I do want to sleep somewhat at a normal time becuase tomorrow morning is CLAMMING.

Saturday

6-9am: Clamming + Sea Urchin Farming

According to this, the clams are toxic to eat. Sad. I, as of right now, still want to go to rake and release them. Sea urchins seem to be fine though? Anyways, if I haven't acknowledged your participation, I have no gear for you.

9-11am: Late morning nap + Rest

Or maybe go on a light run or jog or walk on the beach? For those who need to grind, there'll be somewhere setup where you can work.

11-1pm: Lunch + Setup

We will grab an assorted collection of items from Fishetarian. Let Adam know if you have any particular requests.

1-6pm: GAMES

We will have a scoreboard going of points. Points will be scored individually even though some games will be played in teams. Games include the below (but not in this order): Jeopardy, Overcooked, Dutch Blitz, Board Games like Splendor and Codenames, Wine Tasting.

6-8pm: Dinner + Cake

Self explanatory. We will be picking up pizzas from Huria's.

8-whenever: MORE FUN

Maybe a karaoke session? There's also a hot tub so if you read this far and will be here, please bring a swimsuit!

11am: Wake up before this and LEAVE

What should I wear?

Anything you want. If you are going clamming, you'll need some waterproof shoes to step in the sand and something with grip to walk on rocks. As of April 22, it says it'll be cloudy in the 50s/60s.

If I don't want to attend the birthday celebrations, what else can I do in Bodega Bay?

I'm not offended. 48 hours is a long time to hang with a big group of people. I encourage you to ASK YOUR LLM OF CHOICE!

Will there be transportation details?

If you need a carpool, I should've already contacted you about your transportation. If you haven't been contacted, then I'm going to assume you will make it to Bodega Bay on your own. If you need a carpool, LET ME KNOW NOW.

Where can I park?
  1. When approaching the driveway to the house, you will see it to the right off of Bay Flat Road. Look for a big tree stump. You will see that the driveway goes up to a cul-de-sac with three houses. Ours is the one to the far right.
  2. Please park in the driveway to the right and left of the house. Do not park in the cul de sac as it is a fire violation and the neighbor will call the dept to cite a violation ☹️
Anything else I should know about the house?
  1. Please put the covers on the outdoor furniture when not in use. The covers can be stored in the master bedroom closet. This just protects the cushions from the elements.
  2. Extra pillows are in all of the closets. Please do not use the decorative pillows for sleeping.
  3. The garage floors were recently finished. You can walk on them but please do not drive into the garage.
  4. Remotes for TVs are labeled and in all bedrooms and game rooms.
  5. Extra towels for showering should be in the linen cabinets next to the guest bathroom. Towels for the hot tubs are in the closet on the top floor next to the half bath.
  6. Also just a reminder no smoking on the property and no pets are allowed. If you have smokers in your party please smoke on the driveway or cul de sac. The deck is made of a material that shows burn marks from any kind of smoking.
  7. For the garbage, grey bin is for regular garbage and the blue is for recycling.
  8. If using the Murphy bed, please just bring it down slowly and carefully. A desk top is connected to it but it will come down just fine if done slowly. Extra bedding is in the bunk room closet for the Murphy bed.
